Artist's Comments
This is my third and final independent painting I did for my painting II class. I finally got around to scanning this and finding a program that I could piece the scans together with. For my independent projects, I decided to paint three pieces in an art nouveau style. This one, and the two others that I'll upload eventually, are all painted in acrylic paint, and they're around 8x20 something. I pretty much killed myself with these, especially this one. I pulled an all nighter to finish this, and all together this one probably took around 40 hours? I have no idea, IT'S ALL A BLUR. Anyway, it's not quite finished. The flowers aren't finished, and there are a couple of things here and there I want to touch up eventually, but right now I'm lazy.

I am pretty sure everything here is a symbol in some form or another, but the ones I noticed first were the snakes devouring their tails and the chain on the foot.
The flowers on the bottom have to mean something too, but I don't know what. XD
