Apparently having the avatar that I have means that any opinion I might have about anything is null and void. I keep running into this scenario: I get into an argument with someone, they get mad and can't think of a decent rebuttal,they then proceed to say things like "Your avatar says it all."

Apparently, having a 4chan related avatar means that I am a basement dwelling moron incapable of intelligent thought. Having my own personal sense of humor, one that happens to be one that you disagree with, means that I must think that way all of the time. I must run around screaming internet memes even when its completely innappropriate. I must be completely unable to put humor aside in serious situations.

Apparently, wanting to be involved in some sort of group event is completely unnacceptable when it means enjoying some evil 4chan event, but TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE when it means voting for someone because all the cool people are doing it. Because my being able to put aside doing whats "fun and cool", in serious situations like the election, is somehow totally negated by the fact that I enjoy 4chan.
